This is a pdf knitting pattern.

These aran weight, cotton, unisex bib shorts are worked in 4×4 stripe repeat, with anchor motif, have button shoulder straps and side button fastenings. Designed to be worn over a T-shirt, the blue and cream is a classic colour combination that would also look fab in plains or with alternative stripe combos such as red and cream.

The bib shorts are worked mainly in St st, from bottom up in 4-row stripes, with 5 stitch G st border in the main colour at each side. The back has a deep 2×2 rib waistband (to cover nappy) that extends round to the front to fasten with 2 buttons on each side.

Bibshorts work well worn over long sleeve bodysuits and tights/knee high socks in the colder months.

Needles: size 4.5mm UK, sz 7 (US)

Wool/Yarn Required: Aran/Worsted, 1 -2 x 50g balls in blue, 1 x 50g ball in cream.

Sizes: 0-3m, 3-6m, 6-12m, 12-18m, 18-24m
